I said missing Takoradi girls have been found to give hope to family – CID boss
The head of the Criminal Investigations Department of Ghana, Maame Tiwaa Addo-Danquah has explained why she said the Police have found the whereabout of the missing Takoradi girls.
During the Police Press Briefing held on 2nd April 2019, COP Maame Tiwaa Addo-Danquah said to the public that, the Police have found the whereabout of the missing Takoradi girls.

This has brought public outrage on the CID Boss, with a section of the public calling her out for lying to the nation.
Finally Maame Tiwaa Addo-Danquah has come out to explain why she made that statement.
According to the head of the Criminal Investigations Department, she said the Takoradi girls have been found to give hope to family.
Priscilla Blessing Bentum, Ruth Love Quayson and 15-year-old Priscilla Koranchie, have been missing since last year 2018 in three separate incidents.
Nigerian national, Samuel Udoterg Willison, has been arrested as the prime suspect of the kidnapping case but he has refused to disclose the whereabout of the girls.
