Video: I was dating James Gardeners Sister before I met my wife; her pregnancy was unplanned – John Dumelo Admits

Actor/ Politician John Dumelo and Gifty got married in May 2018 to the surprise of the actor’s numerous fans. At the time, it had be been rumoured that the lady was pregnant hence the seeming rush to marry her.

Also, it was rumoured that Dumelo had jilted his lover who was later identified as the cousin of colleague actor, James Gardiner.

While Gardiner came out to confirm that Dumelo was dating his cousin before he got married to Gifty, the actor kept quiet on the matter.

Less than six months in to their marriage, Mrs Dumelo gave birth to their first child named John Junior leading many to conclude that the pregnancy rumours. were true.

Appearing on Yvonne Okoro’s “Dining with Cooks and Braggarts” Show, confirmed the rumours saying his wife’s pregnancy was not planned and it just happened.

He also disclosed that he was dating, James Gardiner’s cousin, known as Frances, before meeting his wife.

Explaining how he met Gifty, Dumelo stated that though he knew her for a couple of years and they were just friends because Gifty was also dating somebody else by then.

At some point, “things just did not go on well” between him and Frances and the relationship went sour.

Dumelo, however, pointed out categorically that he was not dating Frances before he married Gifty and he even informed her ex of the impending marriage. “Well I did, I think it’s just the honourable thing to do, just to say this is what it is,” he said.
