Photos we’ve obtained show that Safo Newman, a rising alternative music act, has undergone a rebranding, weeks after controversial Ghanaian reggae dancehall crooner Shatta Wale expressed his dissatisfaction with the latter’s brand.

Shatta Wale expressed his displeasure with the child’s guardians, saying they ought to have known better and assisted Safo Newman in building his brand before launching a national marketing campaign.

Safo Newman gained notoriety when a video of him jamming to the album, “Akokoa,” appeared online and quickly gained popularity.
