Legendary gospel singer Yaw Sarpong discussed his relationship with Maame Tiwaa, who many feel has a “special” connection to him, in a recent radio interview.
The significance of this conversation has increased because Yaw Sarpong’s wife brought him before Auntie Naa to discuss Maame Tiwaa.
The musician’s family was now against her, according to the wife, who claimed Tiwaa had taken over their marriage.
Instead of being a romantic relationship as most people think it is, Yaw Sarpong claims that his relationship with Maame Tiwaa is solely professional and work-related. About four years ago, he brought up this subject in a YFM interview.

In the interview, Yaw Sarpong revealed that he first met Maame Tiwaa, whose real name is Perpetual, in 1978. He claims that even before that, he was married with children, so Tiwaa came to live with him and his wife, with whom he has been his music partner throughout his musical career.
