John Kumah, the Deputy Minister of Finance and MP for Ejisu in the Ashanti Region, has passed away at the age of 45. Born on August 4, 1978, in Ejisu Odaho, he completed his education at Opoku Ware Senior High School (OWASS) and the University of Ghana.

He later earned an Executive Masters degree in Business Administration (Finance) from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). Kumah was called to the Ghana Bar in 2013 after obtaining a Professional Law Certificate from the Ghana School of Law.

He also obtained a Doctorate in Business Innovation from the Swiss Business School in Switzerland and a Masters in Applied Business Research from the same Business School in 2019. Kumah was a serial entrepreneur, co-founder of Aduaprokye Chambers, and had six children.

He was married to Apostle Mrs Lilian Kumah, Founder and Senior Pastor of Disciple of Christ Ministries Worldwide.

n old video by broadcaster Captain Smart claimed that Kumah had been poisoned alongside Chairman Wontumi in Kumasi. His house in the Ashanti Region has a sad and suspicious atmosphere.

A man who spoke to TV3 reported that Kumah had been rushed back to Accra in an ambulance due to his declining health. He indicated that Kumah was due to be flown to Germany for treatment.

A video capturing Prophet Nigel Gaisie’s prophecy about the death of the Deputy Finance Minister has surfaced, warning him to take good care of himself and fulfilling a vision of Kumah occupying a higher seat in the government.

 

The details surrounding his death remain unclear, but Captain Smart claims that Kumah was poisoned.
