Photos from the Grand opening of $65 million Takoradi Shopping Mall
The $65M Takoradi Shopping Mall has finally been opened. The grand-opening took place at Ghana’s Western Regional capital yesterday, Thursday 13th December, 2018.
The folks of Sekondi-Takoradi trooped the $65 million shopping mall with their families and loved ones to witness the colourful grand-opening.

High-profile personalities spotted at the ceremony included the Second Lady, H.E. Samira Bawumia, Ghana’s High Commissioner to United Kingdom Paapa Owusu Ankomah, Petroleum Commission’s boss Egbert Faibille, Deputy Minister of Energy Hon. Joseph Cudjoe whose constituency the mall is situated amongst other personalities.
The mall consist of an 11,000 square meter floor and 74 stores. The 1,000 square meter space has a spacious car park of up to 375 parking space.
The second phase of the project will be a 9 acre multi-purpose entertainment center for everything entertainment in the region. The whole project according to the owners will cost a total of $66 million when completed.
