Abena Oppong-Asante has made history following her election into the Parliament of the United Kingdom.
She becomes the first female Ghanaian-British to win election to represent her people in Parliament in the United Kingdom.
Abena Oppong-Asare won on the ticket of the Labour Party in Erith and Thamesmead Constituency.
Following the victory She’s taken to Twitter to thank all those who voted for her to win the parliament seat.
